One of my very wise friends suggested putting a list of things we need on the blog. Dozens of people have called and offered to help with whatever we need. So, it's in the right margin.
I need sweaters or warm shirts that button or zipper up the front. I am wondering if anyone has some that I could borrow for about 2-3 weeks.
I'm going to have a lot of time on my hands and would like some suggestions for really good, uplifting DVD's that we can either rent or borrow. We are so out of it when it comes to movies!
I am going to keep a log of everything I borrow, so I remember who gave me what and I can get it back to you. THANKS!!!

Movies I recommend:
Cranford
A&E Pride and Prejudice.
They are both long and have good stories.
You may want to think about cool scarfs as a hat alternative. They are trendy right now so you may find some really pretty patterns and they may be more comfortable. Good Luck! Hey I could baby sit almost anytime. We live in Farmington, so let me know.

What a great idea to keep this list on here. We'll keep our eyes open for the things you need! :)
Utah Cancer Specialists also has hats available from people who have donated them. I will talk to my sister in law about a hat to sleep in. Her Grandma in law made me mine and it was wonderful for sleeping. I'll keep in touch.
Thanks for that, Corrine! I hadn't heard yet that UCS did that. Thanks for checking up on me!

The movies we vote for are:
Celtic Woman (the performance at the Helix Center, the DVD has a blue cover)
Ever After (the DaVinci character is great and also the 16th century setting)
Secondhand Lions (Matea reminded me there's a couple bad words, but not bad and it's a fun story)
UNCORKED (with Minnie Driver; I LOVE this movie; it's off the wall and there's even therapeutic gardening--Matea thinks it's goofy so as a replacement, she would vote for Princess of Thieves--Robin Hood's daughter and Disney though not animated)
We're thinking of you. Annette and Matea
Also the HBO miniseries "John Adams," but not kid approved because of the graphic realism. Super good and super long though.
Pride and Predjudice
is my favorite all time movie, along with:
Sense and Sensability
ever after
The count of Monte Christo
We have all these DVD's and so many more. I will gladly let you borrow these or any others, let me know.
I hope all goes well on Monday, I know it will. I wish I lived closer so I could help, I do have movies though... : )
My new favorite is Julie & Julia! I think you will love it too!
